October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Susan B. Anthony Project Candlelight Vigil

 October 2008 - date and time TBA - Coe Park in Torrington, CT

The Vigil features activities to promote awareness of domestic violence, honor survivors and remember those who have lost their lives.  The vigil provides an opportunity to give a voice to survivors and their families in a portion of the program known as “Speak Out.”  Call 860-489-3798 to participate in the “Speak Out."

Lily Tomlin Reception

Litchfield Bancorp & Northwest Community Bank sponsored a private reception with Lily Tomlin to benefit Susan B. Anthony Project after her performance at the Warner Theatre on March 8th, 2006

Women's Doubles Round Robin Tennis

The fourth annual Tennis Event was held on June 12, 2007 at the Kent School. Fifty women participated in the event and raised $6,465.

 

Tea for Two Hundred

The tenth annual Tea for Two Hundred to benefit Susan B. Anthony Project and the Northwestern CT Aids Project was held on July 28, 2007. Over 700 guests attended and $106,000 was raised at the event to be shared by the two organizations.
