 Sojourner Truth Transitional Living Program

dotted line

The Sojourner Truth Transitional Living Program is one of the programs of the Susan B. Anthony Project, the agency that provides services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in northwestern Connecticut.

The Sojourner Truth Transitional Living Program opened in 1989. The program services include counseling and case management for individuals and families in the program’s four apartment units.

The Sojourner Truth Transitional Living Program is staffed with an adult counselor advocate and a child advocate. Many women have compared the program to the "stepping stone" or a "bridge" from the crisis supports of a shelter to being on their own.
