The Susan B. Anthony Project provides: Domestic Violence Services Increasing the ability of abused women and their children to achieve a life without violence by ensuring and providing safe alternatives. Domestic Violence Services are often the first avenues to safety, from which leaning and growth can spring. Sexual Assault Crisis Services One in four girls and one in six boys will be sexually assaulted by age 18. Susan B. Anthony Project facilitates the healing process for victims/survivors of sexual assault. Transitional Living Offers extended services to previously sheltered families; creating a place to live without abuse while helping them to achieve autonomy and to identify and work toward long-term goals. STRIVE Seeking To Realize Independent Values and Esteem, STRIVE offers individual counseling, training and support services to women in transition; displaced homemakers, single parents and job-seekers including those seeking non-traditional occupations. STRIVE provides programs, which address the personal and systemic barriers, women face. Community Education & Outreach Presentations for schools and community groups on personal safety for kids, healthy relationships, date rape and sexual harassment. In-service training for professionals on domestic violence and sexual assault.
